After reading some of the reviews, good and bad. I had mixed feelings about ordering this banana tree for my husband, sight unseen It came well packaged with no damage. It has since put out several leaves and has grown at least a foot in the past several weeks. He is very pleased with it.I opted for the largest option and the shipping box was too small; they hacked off the best leaves to make it fit. Thankfully, the customer service was excellent. Save some money and buy one <4 feet. Overall, would buy again, just smaller ; )Overall incredibly happy with this plant. This banana plant arrived in incredibly good condition with only a few minor leaf tears, which is expected of a large leafed plant like this. Within the first two weeks the first new leaf was already fully grown and within a month it has put out its second full sized leaf. Healthy and growing well.My only complaint is that the plant did arrive infested with spider mites, which I am currently trying to combat.My first impression was terrible, but seller reached out and wanted more information. So I decided to give them a second chance and it was worth, the customer service was terrific. After my email they send me a tracking order and long behold another plant arrived in perfect shape.Purchased an ice cream banana plant, it came in bad shape. Contacted Brighter Blooms nursery. They were very kind and wanted to work with me so they sent me a replacement. Lol same shape as the first. Definitely give them an A for effort. Highly recommend purchasing from this company because of the amazing customer service. I will purchase from them again.I ordered a 2-3 ft tree and a 6 ft tree arrived in pretty good condition. Aside from a couple bent leaves it was healthy. It’s only been in the ground a couple days and I can already see new growth. I’m looking forward to some yummy bananas in the years to come!Baloo (what we named our banana plant) is growing wonderfully with all the worms and fish poop. He showed up taller and fuller than expected. We love him so much!! So worth the buy! Thank you :)A challenge to grow bananas in Colorado.
