These took about 5 days to arrive, like it said, no surprise. I am VERY pleased with the shoes. First I checked for fit, and I had ordered my normal size and these fit perfectly. They may seem a little snug, but unless you don't mind coming out of a slip on shoe, you want it to fit a little snug. I can feel the arch support, and I like that. The inside has a soft material lining that is comfortable. Now to the slip on part. For me, if I don't have the shoe up against something like a wall or furniture, when I try to put my foot in, the shoe slides away. When I block it against something, my foot slips in easily and snug secure. The rear of the shoe is sturdy enough so that it does not double over under your heel, at least when new. I took a 2 mile walk in the neighborhood the first day, they were comfortable. I found nothing to dislike about the shoe. Everything about it pleased me.My brother suggested I buy these because I have a long (13) narrow (B) foot and have a difficult time finding slip-on casual shoes that fit. So, even though it was my brother's recommendation, I bought a pair. Great price, significantly discounted. Immediately comfortable from the first time I slid my foot in. A little loose in the heel for me, but with socks fit like a glove. My wife says they are really handsome; I agree. We'll see how they last, but I don't see any weak spots.A matter of concern for me when buying shoes online is whether or not they'll fit well. It's the "ok, let's see" moment of truth that comes with unpacking and trying-on. First observation out of the box was a product that is well constructed. Close attention was given to using excellent materials and assembling a quality product. It appeared that Wolverine takes pride in what they do - i.e. making quality footwear The shoes could't have fit better. Support was/is excellent and they felt comfortable when walking. The no-slip Vibram soles actually do give a feeling of stability on icy surfaces.I took the extra effort to apply weatherproofing cream for extra protection. After awhile when the shoes got scuffed I reapplied the weatherproofing and the scars blended and the shoes looked practically brand new. Also, I use a shoe tree to preserve the shape and form of the product. A US armed service training lesson - "take care of your equipment and it will take good care of you."I highly recommend this product.I don't know how many pairs of Merrell shoes I've had, but they've all been easy to "break-in".These Jungle Mocs can handle any terrain. My previous pair lasted two years before I relegated them to "work shoes". They took me hiking in the South Dakota Badlands and on one european trip through the Swiss Alps and cities of Paris, Rome, Munich, & Amsterdam among all the others in between. Comfortable!I wanted to stop wearing boots. My feet always sweat and you get tired of the to put them on. These were a great change. Breathable, super comfortable and the build helps your back.I've owned several Merrell shoes and my usual size always fit perfectly. These slip-ons however break that rule. They feel loose enough to be uncomfortable. Thick socks help a lot but I am no a fan of thick socks personally. Plus they're new so once broken in it will be worse.Be ready to return for next smaller size to fit snug.Nice comfortable slip on shoe. Perfect for airports. Easy to slip on and off. I wear them most days to work. Good all around support and arch support too. These are my new work shoes, I am a big man that spends a lot of time my feet and need good shoes. I had them about a month and they are holding up well and give enough support to get thru some long days. Definitely recommend these shoes.
