Experience in this segment dates back to 1978, when the world's first plastic hard shell skate, the Roces “Jet”, introduced a product that shaped a whole market for decades. Incidentally, this first shell is still virtually unchanged today on some inline skate models, such as the Majestic 12 or the FCO. The patent for adjustment was filed in 1992, and the system was first introduced on a children's inlineskates in 1994. This model is still available today. In 2006, we successfully transferred the technical principle of this patented size adjustment to children's ski boots.
