The fast-curing resin based on MMA is thanks to a special combination of materials, of dough-like consistency already a few minutes after the mixing process and then can be applied immediately to claw and wood block and modelled into desired shape. Depending on outdoor temperatures, the resin is fully cured after 4 to 6 minutes and after cooling down has its full load bearing capacity.
Subsequently to a treatment of 10 minutes, the animal can walk free of pain! The accelerator shortens the polymerisation time of Technovit® 6091 without increasing the polymerisation temperature (different from using a hair-drier to shorten the polymerisation time). The operator is able to adjust the curing time individually by adding the accelerator. In this manner the processing of Technovit® 6091 can be customised perfectly to the personal mode of operation. Particularly at low outside-temperatures the addition of Technovit® 6091 accelerator is highly recommended to shorten the curing time.
No strain due to temperature!
The maximum reaction warmth is 86° C which is less than with other comparable products. Favoured by the poor heat conductivity of the claw horn, the temperature at the true skin does not rise above 39 °C.
