This book was on a list of the ten best books about Machines Embroidery. I am not a traditional machine quilter, but do fiber art that contains quilting and both programed and free motion embroidery. I purchased the book as a reference book. Arranged alphabetically the book provides clear concise explanations of techniques, supplies, tools, and accessories used in Machine Embroidery. The scope of its contents is beyond the instruction provided by any introductory workshop and has helped build my vocabulary and conceptual skill. I find the how-to-content useful and inspiring.
