Everyone's an artist right?... You can say that, although Raymon Fong and Our Nations Empire is more than music. It is the art with the music that makes Our Nations Empire something special. He is a visual artist with a sensitive side to writing and playing guitar. Heavily influenced by classic, progressive and folk rock is where he blends his music and writing. Idols include Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, Mark Knopfler, Rush to Neil Young and Natalie Merchant. Trained as a fine artist Ray believes the visuals are just as important as the music. 'I believe the music and art should come as one... I take as much enjoyment designing the art for my albums as in writing the music.' Ray F. Raymon started his first music project, Piperstrail, which included the release of his first album entitled 'Between Mind & Machine' in which Al B performed on. This album expresses the melodic and soft side of Ray's musical influences. Today Piperstrail has evolved into Our Nations Empire (O.N.E). A different look, an expansion of discovery and sound. 'We adapt, Our Nations Empire is just an expansion of my music. O.N.E is everything I feel, from anger, hope, distress and happiness.
