I have a number of good bread books, but I got a copy of this one recently on the recommendation of an acquaintance who does a lot of bread baking in her machine. I was surprised to find that it has so many really appealing recipes, a number of them somewhat unusual, and in a very simple and unpretentious format. I love that there's a chapter on Whole Grain, Nut and Seed Breads, a chapter on Holiday Breads, one on sourdoughs, one on Cheese Breads, one on Spreads and Stuff (Welsh rarebit - yum!) - and even one on wheat-free breads, which was unusual when this was printed. There are other good chapters - those are just a few that jumped out at me. I think this is going to be my favorite bread book!
